Every maternity journey is unique on its own as the expectant mother. As your Syracuse NY Maternity Photographer, I encourage expecting mamas to professionally have their maternity journey captured and preserved, as it is a journey to remember, as well as reach out to the professional members of their community to be as well educated as they can be, before delivering their sweet baby.

A group of professional women who specialize in maternity needs form a panel at Pregnant and Prepared at Fulton NY's 114 Reserve coffee house with Simply Shelayna Newborn Photography.
The professional panel of Pregnant and Prepared

At Canalview Chiropractic’s Pregnant & Prepared, moms were able to sit down and pepper a professional panel of women with questions concerning their own health and the health of their unborn babies.

Meet Your Pregnant & Prepared Panel

Members of the panel of professionals were Dr. Nikki Titman our wonderful host (Canalview Chiropractic), Danielle Weibel (Certified Lactation Consultant), Brittany Todeschini (Post Partum Doula from Courageous Moments), and Dr. Elizabeth Auburn PT, DPT (Blue Pelvic Physical Therapy), Kristen Orts (Crossroads Midwifery & Family Wellness), Certified birth & Postpartum Doula, Jessica Heindorf (5 Moons Doula), & Dr. Jennifer Thomas (Eclipse Acupuncture).

Along with the knowledge that was available to them, each mom received a well-deserved massage from either Kaleigh Fitzsimmons (Body Works by Kay) and LMT Katrina Godici, and a professional maternity portrait from yours truly (Simply Shelayna Newborn Photography).

The expectant moms were also treated to arranged flowers by That Flower Stand on Forty-Eight!

Pregnant and Prepared has grown from Bumps Night Out, to include more expectant moms and a larger venue, the beautiful new coffee shop in downtown Fulton, 114 Reserve.

All in all, it was a wonderful ladies’ afternoon with mocktails, a charcuterie board, labor stories swapped, mama hacks given, questions answered, and loads of laughs.
