Gosh, Karina was a dreams senior to capture! As an Oswego Senior Photographer, I love to capture the confidence in our young teens who are ready to embark on their new chapter in life. Karina has been homeschooled, and she lacked no confidence in front of the camera. I was in awe of the way she carried herself as we used multiple natural backdrops of Mexico Point Park.

Being a senior (especially after the end of the 2020 school year) is a big deal. It was very unfortunate at the loss of senior activities they had been looking forward too. All seniors must work hard to complete their required courses and make life changing decisions on where and what to do after receiving that special piece of paper that declares “You did it!” This is one reason why I believe senior photography is so important. They need a day to pamper themselves and feel good in what they are wearing without the pressure from their peers or society. They will look back on their senior portraits as an accomplishment they will always be proud of. They will never regret this moment. Nor will their parents.
For my senior sessions, I encourage my model to bring two to three outfits to change into. This will give them a variety of poses and looks to love and pick from in their gallery.
