Every year, this Syracuse Family Photographer plants a beautiful garden filled with towering, gorgeous sunflowers. I hoe the ground, create the rows, plant and water by hand. Throughout the summer I measure the flowers with love and water, pulling weeds and making my backdrop of sunflowers picture perfect.
When the end of summer rolls around, I have wonderful families with beautiful children come and explore my sunflower field. The children love to have their pictures taken with the highest blossoms, and biggest heads. We take turns posing family, siblings, and individuals, and even pair up siblings.
As a bonus, I often cut some smaller heads for the children to take home and create a pretty sunflower bouquet for their table’s décor. They love having the memento to remind them of the fun they had while at their family portrait session.
