I love it when clients are willing to travel for me. I service many requests for a family and/or newborn photographer from many parts of the state (and even out of the country once!) The Wilson family traveled nearly two hours from their post at Fort Drum to come specifically to me for their family portraits. With them was their sweet 6-month-old daughter, Tatum, who was all smiles for the camera. She even let my eldest daughter, Rose, sing to her as I captured a few portraits of just mom and dad.

The Wilson’s at their Fort Drum Photography Session

For the Wilson Fort Drum family photography session, we kept it simple and in studio. We had a classic backdrop set up and changed it up with a flokati and my park bench for Miss Tatum. She was still working on her sitting up skills but loved all the attention she was receiving from the camera.

I receive many calls from and for our Fort Drum soldiers. New moms are often looking for an experienced newborn and family photographer to capture their special moments of their growing family. And I love it even more when grandma calls from out of state looking for the best care she can acquire for her new grandchild! Each time, I meet with a client, I feel like I have made a lifelong friend. I treasure the relationships I cultivate with all my clients.
