Adelaide’s 1 year-milestone session was unique on more then one account. This cutie came to see me for her first birthday session. But instead of a cake smash, she demolished a banana split instead!! It was so cool! (Pun intended!) Adelaide isn’t a fan of cake (they tried it at her birthday party), but she loves her bananas and ice cream!

As an Oswego Photographer, I love to create the vision mom has for her little one’s milestone session. Even if that means portraits with mom’s wedding dress! Adeliade wore mom’s lace as a veil, and we captured the perfect moment of the two combined. An heirloom treasure for sure!

Interested in a cake smash?

My Cake Smash sessions are in 3 parts to capture a variety of portraits and the personality of your one-year-old. I start with a classic or themed setting, move onto the messy cake smash, and finish it off with the bubble bath blast! The bubble bath is always blast of water through my studio. I keep extra towels on standby for the flood that most likely will occur. During this part of the session, I have parents help by blowing bubbles to bring out the magic in the birthday baby’s eyes!
