What made this session even more special was it was a combined with two older siblings bringing the whole family together as a “Yours, Mine and Ours”. Her big brothers, Odin and Connor did a great job being patient and quiet in the studio while I soothed sister to sleep to capture them. One of the benefits that I always include in my newborn sessions is to capture the whole family portrait for mom as well as any siblings together. Family and sibling portraits are a reward for mom and dad. They invest so much into their family that it is important to have these precious moments captured and preserved to look back on every day.

Another element that made this session very special to me as an Oswego NY Newborn Photographer, is Aria’s dad and I grew up together in the same youth group. And I always had a camera on me back then as a teenager, so I have so many moments caught on 35mm film of Steve that are priceless and fun. I told Chelsea that she’s going to have to come over and pour over my albums with me to see what he was like in the teen years!
Are you expecting a newborn soon? My best advice is to book your Oswego NY Newborn Photography session, before your baby comes. This will give you a peace of mind knowing it is all set and you aren’t trying to figure it all out while in recovery from delivering your baby. It also will guarantee you a spot on my calendar and that your baby will be photographed in the best time frame. Newborns are only squishy for the first couple weeks of their life. I prefer to photograph newborns between five to 14 days of birth. For more of my newborn experience and availability, give me a call at (315) 297-1816 or email me at shelaynalynn@aol.com.
