It is such an honor to be called upon to capture our servicemen and women’s families. As a Fort Drum Newborn Photographer, I receive many request on behalf of newborns that need a professional custom and safe newborn portrait experience.

William in the froggy pose | 19 days new

One of the great things about being a Fort Drum Newborn Photographer, is many grandparents call me from out of state. Their children are so far from home as they service our great country and they are unable to be with them (some because of travel restrictions due to Co-Vid 19) that they desire to have the best portraits of their grand babies that they can receive.

William is one of those sweet babies. He traveled from Fort Drum to see me at just 19 new! He did a fabulous job in his newborn session, and even gave me a smile during his fishing pose set up! His daddy loves to fish so we had to incorporate a fishing themed portrait into his newborn session.

With newborn sessions, there are so many possibilities with poses, themes, and classic/neutral styles for sessions. I, of course, have my own workflow and style, but I love to service parents when I know in advance what they want added to their session. When parents book prior to their baby’s birth, I can pull out colors, create or purchase props that will match their vision and their home/nursery décor. Booking a newborn session in advance, also gives the parent a peace of mind knowing that they won’t have to panic to research and find a trained newborn photographer in their area to capture your baby.

If you are a friend is expecting, please share with them my website so they can start their own newborn portrait session planning today! I am always available to call and chat with to share my custom newborn portrait experience with you. (315) 297-1816 or email at info@simplyshelayna.com
